Plastic & compost

Compost is a concrete way for us to become aware of the problem of plastics left in nature.

After 2 years of depositing fruit & vegetable peelings, fresh lawns, coffee grounds, cartons without chemical ink and other inert waste ... the soil produced is rich. It will constitute a completely natural quality fertilizer.

Only one material has not broken down:
le plastic.

Plastic & weather

The collection of waste on the beaches is also a concrete way of becoming aware of the problem of plastics left in nature.

After several years sailing on the open sea, plastic fails on the beach, the wind carries it, the sand buries it. By digging a little, we found this plastic bottle. So fragile that when it is touched, it breaks up into ten small pieces.

Plastic doesn't degrade,
it is fragmented.

50% of the world's plastic production comes from Asia. This same continent has the largest bamboo groves in the world.

According to the European association Plastics Europe, global plastic production exceeded the 350 million tonne mark in 2019 *. China is on the top step of the podium, followed by Europe and North America.

* Includes thermoplastics, polyurethanes, thermosets, elastomers, adhesives, coatings and sealants, as well as PP fibers. Excluding PET, PA and polyacryl fibers.
